Liza Minelli will take the stage for the grand finale of the 20th Annual Frank Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational Gala to be held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, CA.
I always wondered how Liza became part of the 1987 reunion tour of the Rat Pack. This article from The Desert Sun newspaper explains that she filled in for a grieving Dean Martin and that she considered Frank to be one of her parents' friends and never a close friend or love interest.
